About Fully Fit Lifestyles
At Fully Fit Lifestyles we work with clients to develop the strength and coordination needed to support their daily lifestyle. The goal and outcome — increased abilities that leaves you feeling good about yourself.
Cara Lindell, the founder of Fully Fit Lifestyles, started the company, after identifying a gap in her own fitness needs. After turning 40 and confronting several health challenges, she began to understand that walking or aerobics with light dumbbells wasn't enough. Strength training became her passion!
Along the way she observed others who that wanted to begin exercising again but weren't confident enough to join a group fitness program. These individuals were:
- unsure of their ability
- hadn't exercised in many years or
- had prior injuries or medical conditions.
They knew of the benefits of exercising and understood that using a personal trainer was a great way to start, but were unsure of a long-term program. From these observations, Fully Fit Lifestyles emerged with a focus on functional strength and movement training.
The work with strength and coordination in adults transferred into a developmental exercise program for children. This technique measures movement in three planes (X,Y and Z plane) and has been particularly successful at identifying missing pieces in a child's developmental sequence. Once the sensorimotor skills are identified, they can be developed using techniques drawn from work with athletics, post-rehab and general fitness.
